Where to find a home or a foster family for stray animals in Montenegro?

Below you'll find Russian- and Montenegrin-speaking groups and chats. It's ok to write a post in them in English.

Based on our experience, in all the groups written in Italic below you can search for a foster family, a permanent home, or look for a lost pet. In the groups which are written in regular font often the approval of a post about stray animals depends on the moderator. In some groups and chats below they allow only publications about a lost domestic pets. Please check the rules of a specific group.

The situation with stray animals in Montenegro is tough. Therefore, please note that normally posts reading something like "I've found a kitten, I am flying away tomorrow, please come and rescue it!" are 98% destined to be unsuccessful. Please specify in the post how you can help too (i.e. sponsor a visit to the vet, pay for foster care or provide pet food).

It's not the best idea to share your post in all the groups below in one day. It's much more effective to write posts every 3-4 days, preferably on the weekdays rather than on the weekend. Posts with new photos attract far more attention, so do your best to upload and post new photos regularly.
